David M. Munro is a partner with the Portland, Oregon, law firm of Thede Culpepper Moore Munro & Silliman LLP. He practiced in Oregon from 1967 to 1992, served as an Associate Director of Planned Giving at Stanford University from 1992 to 1995, and resumed his practice in Oregon in 1995. His practice includes estate planning, estate and trust administration, and charitable organizations.

David is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Portland and has spoken to a variety of professional and other audiences on estate planning topics.

David earned his bachelor's degree (1963) and law degree (1966) at Stanford University and a master's degree in taxation (1967) at New York University.

David has served various nonprofit organizations as a board member or committee member for many years. He is a past president and current member of the board of directors of The St. Andrew's Society of Oregon, a charitable organization dedicated to the assistance of persons of Scottish descent and the perpetuation of Scottish culture. He is also a member of the Planned Giving Committee of Loaves & Fishes Centers, Inc., the Fund Development Committee of The Salvation Army, and the Endowment Investment Committee of Oregon Episcopal School.

David enjoys spending time with his wife, his two daughters, his sons-in-law, his grandson, and his granddaughter. He also enjoys golf (especially in Scotland and Ireland), books, theater, classical music, and travel.
