Professional Experience

Jackson A. Shaw joined Thede Culpepper in November 2021.  His practice includes estate planning,

estate and trust administration, charitable planning, and tax-exempt organizations.

He is admitted to practice in Oregon and Washington.

Education

Jackson is a graduate of Cornell University (B.A., Phi Beta Kappa, 2017) and Harvard Law School
(J.D., cum laude, 2020).  During law school, he served as a research assistant to Professor Robert Sitkoff,
the country's leading trusts and estates scholar, whom he assisted in preparing a new edition of the foremost textbook on trusts and estates.

Personal Activities

Jackson lives in Northeast Portland with his wife.  He enjoys backpacking and tending

to their ever-expanding vegetable garden.
