LORI BRASFIELD

Paralegal

Professional Experience

Lori Brasfield is a paralegal with the law firm of Thede Culpepper Moore Munro & Silliman LLP.  After working at Miller Nash LLP since 1977 (including 20 years as a paralegal for the trusts and estates department), she left with the partners at the initial formation of Thede Culpepper LLP.  Lori assists the attorneys in the administration of estates, trusts, and conservatorships and works directly with the clients.  She prepares court pleadings and handles asset accounting, transfer, and management matters.  She also prepares tax returns, including estate tax,

fiduciary income tax, and individual income tax returns.

Professional Activities

Lori is a member of the National Federation of Paralegal Associations and the Oregon Paralegal Association

(Estate Planning/Administration Specialty Group).

Civic and Community Activities

Lori is an alumni member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and was involved in Santa's House at Alpenrose.  She has been a volunteer for the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association.

Education

Lori earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from Oregon State University in 1977.

Personal Activities

Lori is married and has two adult children. She enjoys reading, swimming, and activities with her family, dog, and cat.
